UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Celebrate SBDC Day in Five Communities March 20

logo with people celebrating on itSmall-business owners will have the opportunity to meet their Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network regional advisers in five communities across the state during the eighth annual SBDC Day Meet-and-Greet Celebration Wednesday, March 20.

The Wyoming SBDC Network will celebrate SBDC Day by inviting its clients to attend meet-and-greet events that will take place in Cheyenne, Douglas, Gillette, Laramie and Powell. The events will provide clients the chance to meet the Wyoming SBDC Network team in person; network with other members of the community; and explore the opportunities the Wyoming SBDC Network has available for future entrepreneurs and small- business owners.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

The schedule for each event is:

-- Powell, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Powell Regional Office conference room, located at 227 N. Bent St. Devan Costa-Cargill, the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Big Horn, Hot Springs, Park and Washakie counties, will be the presenter. To register, go here.

-- Gillette, 9-11 a.m., Campbell County Chamber of Commerce, located at 409 W. Second St. P.J. Burns, the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Campbell, Crook, Johnson, Sheridan and Weston counties, will be the presenter. To register, go here.

-- Cheyenne, 9:30-11 a.m., Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Manufacturing Center, located at 1400 E. College Drive. Kenny Overby, the Wyoming SBDC Network’s regional director for Goshen and Laramie counties; and Minden Fox, a professor of business at LCCC, will be the presenters. To register, go here.

-- Laramie, 10-11 a.m., Laramie Regional Office conference room 1, located at 406 S. 21st St. Jim Drever, the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Albany and Carbon counties, will be the presenter. To register, go here.

-- Douglas, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., The Enterprise, located at 130 S. Third St. Steen Stovall, the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Converse, Natrona, Niobrara and Platte counties, will be the presenter. To register, go here.
