UW Dining Services to Open Chick-fil-A in Wyoming Union Thursday

The long wait in Laramie is over: The University of Wyoming campus and Laramie community can finally “Eat Mor Chikin.”

UW is set to open a Chick-fil-A -- the second one in the state -- inside the Wyoming Union Thursday, March 21, at 7:30 a.m.

Even though the restaurant is on the UW campus, service is not limited to the campus community. As a UW dining operation, Chick-fil-A will offer dine-in, take-out and mobile orders placed through the UWyo Eats app and accept cash, credit, Dining Dollars and Campus Dining gift cards.

Thos placing mobile orders via UWyo Eats will need to scan their order receipt QR codes upon arrival, located at the pickup window, to dispatch their orders to the kitchen. This is to ensure quality freshness and allows the kitchen extra time to prepare your meal while reducing your wait time.

Store hours will be 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday. Breakfast will be served Monday through Friday from 7:30-10:30 a.m. 

“We’re excited about our partnership with Chick-fil-A. Many of our students have been telling us for years that they wanted a Chick-fil-A on campus, and we’re happy that we will be able to provide that option,” says Eric Webb, UW’s associate vice president of business enterprises. “Bringing Chick-fil-A to the Wyoming Union is another way to enhance the dining experience of our students and campus community.”

Patrons are encouraged to use the complimentary University Express shuttle lots situated at 15th and Spring Creek or 30th and Willett, or opt for Park Mobile spots conveniently positioned on the ground level of the Ivinson Parking Garage (11th and Ivinson) or the Knight Hall Loop (13th and Ivinson).
