April 17, 2015 -- With the weather forecast calling for continuing heavy snow through this evening, the University of Wyoming has joined Albany County School District 1 in an early release today.

No UW classes or regular business operations will take place after noon, allowing students, faculty and staff members to return to their homes.

“Please be careful in your travels,” UW President Dick McGinity says.
