American Youth Leadership Program with Samoa

Who is eligible to apply?

Youth and adults that reside in one of the 13 Western states will be eligible to participate in AYLP with Samoa: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Youth applicants must....

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Be at least 15 years old and not older than 17 years old by the trip departure date. (December 13, 2013)
• Have at least one semester of high school remaining following the trip

Adult applicants must…

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Be in a position to work directly with and influence young leaders
• There is no age requirement for adult participants but ability to serve as a mentor and chaperone will be taken into consideration.
