For First-Year Students entering in the fall semester, there is a $300 enrollment deposit that is due by May 1st. If your plans change, the $300 enrollment deposit is refundable by May 1st. Students admitted after May 1st, the enrollment deposit is due within three weeks of your acceptance and is non-refundable. This deposit holds your place in the incoming class and “alerts” the University of your intention to attend.Confirm your Enrollment today!
Once you confirm your enrollment at UW, we now recognize you as part of our community. Please check your WyoWeb account often to access your e-mail account. This e-mail address will have important updates, student event, deadlines, and financial aid information.
First-year students are required to live in UW residence halls during their initial two semesters. Complete your housing contract through WyoWeb. Here you may choose a desired Freshman Interest Group (FIG), provide your preference for a specific building or floor, and be matched with a compatible roommate. For further information about housing, please contact Residence Life and Dining.
All students must turn in their proof of the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella vaccinations prior to course registration. You will not be able to register for semester classes if you have not met this requirement. For further information about the MMR vaccination requirement, please contact Student Health Service or fill out and submit the MMR Immunization Form.
Orientation is available for all new first-time freshmen. This is your chance to meet with your academic advisor, register for classes, explore UW services and connect with other students.
Students who would like to be considered for need-based financial assistance must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This should be completed between January 1st and March 1st (for fall semester) or November 1st (for spring semester) to be considered for need-based aid and many of Wyoming’s scholarship programs. The priority deadline for financial aid is March 1. Visit the Financial Aid office for more information or phone (307) 766-2116. Students are encouraged to apply for UW scholarships at uwyo.edu/scholarships (live link to financial aid scholarship site). Deadlines and additional applications exist for many scholarship opportunities.
***** Priority Deadline is MARCH 1st, not MAY 1st.
Upon high school graduation or the last semester at your current institution, please have your final official transcripts sent to the UW Admissions Office. Any new test scores, AP/IB test results, and dual enrollment should also be sent to:
