Internship Program

Intern for the Arabic & Middle East Studies Program and earn credit hours for doing so! Join our team and earn 3 upper-division INST or POLS credits, learn about the Middle Eastern and North African region, and work on some of our many initiatives for the university. Hours are flexible and we will work with your school or work schedule.

MENA (Middle East North Africa) Cultural Club

Want to hang out with people interested in Middle Eastern and North African culture? This club takes members on a tour throughout the MENA region. focusing on one country per meeting. Members will try new food/drinks, listen to music, play games, and watch a country-specific presentation to learn more about the MENA region, one country at a time!

Model Arab League

Model Arab League is a Spring course that ends with a multi-regional competition in which students from across the world learn about and compete as representatives from the 22-member states of the Arab League. UW students are encouraged to use the experience to hone their skills in public speaking and diplomacy, in addition to the primary goal of learning about the politics and history of the Arab world.
