Senate Vacancy Application and Process

Pursuant to Senate Bill #2722, the ASUW Student Government no longer utilizes the Special Elections process and will now fill vacancies via applications and confirmation of the ASUW Senate. Applications can be found and completed by using this form.

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will be interviewed by the ASUW Elections Committee. If selected for a vacant seat, they will be nominated for confirmation by the ASUW Senate at the next immediate Senate Meeting -- this process will begin in the fall semester.

Further questions can be directed to ASUW Vice President, Colter Anderson (asuwvp@uwyo.edu).
