Research Interests:
Nutritional management, immune responses and human, food-borne pathogen prevalence in gastrointestinal tract of food animals, as well as the safety of meat. I will combine my research experiences in microbiology, meat and animal science, and molecular biology to study the prevalence of pathogens in the gastrointestinal tract of food animals as affected by nutritional and other interventions, as well as the microbiological safety of meat.
