Connect to Your UW Email Account with an iPad

Note: These instructions are only for users who are on UW Exchange email. Users who have been migrated to Office 365 should see How to Configure an iOS (iPhone or iPad) Device to Work with UW’s Office 365 Email System.


  1. Start by clicking on Settings on the home screen. Then, on the Settings screen, touch on Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  2. On the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen touch on Add Account.
  3. On the Add Account screen touch on Microsoft Exchange.
  4. Enter your UW account information: UW email address, domain name (, and username and password, then click Next.
  5. On the next screen that appears, verify that the server name is and touch Next.
  6. If you want to sync your Exchange Calendars, Contacts, Mail and reminders make sure they are turned on and touch Save to complete. Go to your Mail icon and your mail should come in.
