Foxtail millet: management for

supplemental and emergency forage

By David W. Koch, Department of Plant Sciences

With the havoc wrecked by drought and other factors on traditional forage sources for livestock, producers are being forced to look beyond pastures and hay to assure nutritional foodstuff for their animals. Foxtail millet: management for supplemental and emergency forage provides Wyoming producers with information about how to grow nutritional foxtail millet to add to the diet of their livestock.
