Sagebrush occupies about 58,000
square miles of Wyoming
or about two-thirds of the state. This 68-page booklet is a practical and
useful guide to the sagebrushes of Wyoming.
There are seven species and five subspecies. The booklet provides a key for their
recognition, outlines their distribution in the state, describes their
morphological and ecological characteristics, and appraises their potentials
for and reactions to management including grazing use.
