White-Tailed Deer Habitat Requirements and Management in Wyoming

            White-tailed deer populations have been gradually increasing statewide along cottonwood-willow stream/river bottoms and in agricultural areas where alfalfa, corn, and small-grain crops predominate.

 

            Their association with these preferred habitat types makes private lands an important component in supporting deer populations.
