Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) Program

Who we are. The University of Wyoming's Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) Program -- Haub School, Ruckelshaus Institute, Wyoming Conservation Corps -- is a leader in envioronment and natural resources in the West. The ENR Program meets the mission of a land-grant university by educating students and providing new information, outreach, and service about natural resources in Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain West.

UW has a clear institutional strength in ENR disciplines, based on a widely recognized depth and breadth of faculty expertise. The vision of the ENR program is to through the collaborative efforts of faculty, staff and the Ruckelshaus Board to maximize its ability to reach a large and diverse audience.

Helga Otto Haub School
The Helga Otto Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources is an interdisciplinary program that allows students to specialize in a specific field while, at the same time, exposing students to the thought processes of the many other disciplines that are involved in environmental and natural resources studies. 

William D. Ruckelshaus Institute
The William D. Ruckelshaus Institute is a partnership among UW faculty and students, a prominent advisory board composed of leaders from business, industry, environmental organizations, education and government, and the aspirations of a land grant university.

Wyoming Conservation Corps
The Wyoming Conservation Corps provides Wyoming college students with important personal and technical skills and experience in natural resource and environmental career fields, through projects focusing on improving Wyoming's public lands.
