Oct. 14, 2005 -- Leadership educator Will Keim will give an all-campus lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Keim will discuss trends in student leadership development, spirituality in higher education, and a variety of other current issues facing college students, including high-risk drinking.

"He (Keim) is the number one educator speaking to college students today, period," says Matt Caires, UW assistant dean of students for leadership development and Greek life.

Keim is the author of the “Education of Character” series and contributing author to “Chicken Soup for the College Soul,” “Let Your Leadership Speak,” and “Greek Inspirations.”

He is currently an educator, residence hall director, educational program coordinator, and campus minister. He earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Pacific and his Ph.D. from Oregon State University.

The lecture, sponsored by Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, ASUW, and Freshman Senate, will be both educational and inspiring for UW students, Caires says.
