2005 UW Homecoming Parade and Sing Winners

Oct. 17, 2005 -- The Wyoming Union earned the grand award for the most outstanding float in the University of Wyoming's Cowboy Caribbean Homecoming parade Saturday, Oct. 15.

The UW Student Alumni Association announced the runner-up was Alpha Gamma Rho.

Kappa Delta Pi was the sweepstakes winner for small float and Sigma Alpha sorority earned runner-up honors in that category.
Most original parade entry went to Albany County Public Library while Fellowship of Christian Athletes was named runner-up.

The Office of the Registrar's float was awarded best use of theme and Centennial Singers received runner-up.

Best off-campus commercial honors went to Fantastic Sam's and runner-up Corral West Ranchwear.

Delta Delta Delta sorority was named the overall winner at the 70th annual Homecoming Sing, sponsored by Iron Skull junior honorary, on Friday, Oct. 14. Pi Beta Phi won the Women's Division while Sigma Nu claimed the Men's.
