Dec. 3, 2004 -- The Wyoming Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi appointed and installed new chapter officers recently. The new executive council leads the chapter in many activities at the University of Wyoming and in the community.

The officers, appointed every November, hold their positions for one year. The new officers are picked by an executive council and then are approved by the entire chapter. The officers range from president of the chapter to risk manager, which provides guidance in collegiate life.

"This new executive council already has offered several new ideas to continue the chapter's community involvement and increase awareness of the great things the Greek system can offer," says new president Lindsey Lorello of Gillette.

Other UW sororities will select officers early in the spring semester.
