2003 UW Homecoming Parade and Sing Winners

Oct. 20, 2003 -- The Fellowship of Christian Athletes received the grand award for the outstanding float in the University of Wyoming's Homecoming parade Saturday, Oct. 18.

The UW Student Alumni Association announced the runners-up were Sigma Nu and Pi Beta Phi.

Lambda Chi Alpha was the sweepstakes winner for best small float. Runners-up were the Ag Council and UW trustees.

Sigma Chi and Chi Omega won for most original float. Runners-up were Alpha Gamma Rho and Tri Delta.

The Best of Theme award went to Sigma Nu and Pi Beta Phi. Runner-up was Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

The Niobrara High School Marching Band won the off-campus marching award. Runner-up was the Kemmerer High School Marching Band.

Corral West Ranchwear won the award for off-campus commercial, with First Interstate Bank coming in as runner-up.

Honorable mentions were the Albany County Public Library, Laramie Historic Neighborhood, Secretary of State Joe and Mary Meyer, and Fantastic Sam's.

Pi Beta Phi sorority was the overall winner in the annual Homecoming sing, sponsored by Iron Skull, the junior class service honor society. Delta Delta Delta won the Women's Division, while Sigma Nu won the Men's Division.
