AGR Hosts Free Barbecue Wednesday

April 18, 2006 -- The University of Wyoming chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) Fraternity will host the 10th Annual Earth Day Barbecue Wednesday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Prexy’s Pasture.

Each year, AGR feeds more than 2,000 students, faculty, staff and members of the community free burgers, beans and soft drinks for the event. The fraternity encourages everyone to come out, enjoy a meal on them, and help celebrate Earth Day 2006 while supporting local agriculture.

Additional event sponsors include the Wyoming Beef Council, ASUW, Farthing Ranch, Knott Land & Livestock, Wood Cattle Co., The Feed Store, Jo-Ed Produce, and Swift & Co.
