About CRHRE

Welcome to the Web site of the University of Wyoming’s Center for Rural Health Research and Education (CRHRE, pronounced "share"). A unit of the UW College of Health Sciences, the CRHRE’s mission is to provide tools, technology, and support services that enable practitioners, administrators, educators, researchers, policy makers, and students to improve the quality of health care and services in rural areas.

The CRHRE is recognized throughout Wyoming as a leader in using technology to support health care, and our aspiration is to further develop our experience in this area and increase the development and deployment of technology throughout the state’s health care community. Our main functions are (1) to provide expertise and services to the College, University, and State for technology in health research and education and (2) to create strategic partnerships in support of decision making and policy development in the area of rural health care, particularly with regard to technology.

To learn more about our specific areas of expertise, click on the links in the list under our banner above. The quick links on the right will provide background on the CRHRE, our projects and resources, and staff. Feel free to contact us if you have questions or comments about our work.
