BSL and Pharmaceutical Science Labs Completed

The UW College of Health Sciences School of Pharmacy held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception for the newly renovated BSL-2 (Tissue Culture) Lab and Pharmaceutical Science Labs on April 29.  The labs are located on the fourth floor of the College of Health Sciences Center. 

Associate Professors Michael Zawada and Mita Das will use the labs to continue their critical research of therapies for treating Parkinson's disease and drug dependence and the role of hypoxia in pulmonary hypertension and lung cancer.
