Several UW School of Pharmacy students and faculty attended the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Annual Meeting and Exposition held March 16-20, 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia. Among those in attendance were students Rochelle Fliethman, April Mertens, Tamara Mogck, Doreen Hietala, Angela Fornstrom, Jessica Jennings, Kyla Zanto, Chris Peryam, and Erin Door and faculty members Kem and Janelle Krueger, Tonja Woods, and Jennifer Petrie.
Dean John Vandel and his wife, Joyce, also attended the meeting. Dean Vandel was installed as the 2007-08 Honorary President of APhA recognizing his lifetime of distinguished public service and contributions to the profession and the organization.
Kem Krueger and Angela Fornstrom (Class of 2008) gave a podium presentation. Poster presentations were given by Janelle Krueger, Jennifer Petrie, and Tonja Woods. Kyla Zanto (Class of 2007) presented a paper.
Rochelle Fliethman served as UW's chapter delegate for the APhA-ASP House of Delegates.
Students attended CEs and represented UW's chapter of organizations (Chris Peryam from Rho Chi – and Tamara Mogck of Phi Delta Chi) at receptions.
