Class of January 1967 Celebrates 40th Reunion

Six pharmacy students graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Pharmacy in January of 1967.  Five of the six members of the Class of January 1967 met in Laramie April 21, 2007 to celebrate their 40th reunion.  The reunion was held in conjunction with the School of Pharmacy's 60th anniversary celebration.  Members of the class attending the reunion were Loren Thompson, Bruce Hoffman, Art Zube, Terry Hahn, and Brad Stearns.  Spouses in attendance were Lois Ann Thompson, Jenny Hoffman, Doris Zube, and Carol Hahn.  Those unable to attend were Bill and Holly Rathburn and Brad Stearns' wife Marj. 

One of the unusual things this group did was to present to each of the six wives a PHTC diploma at graduation (PHTC = Putting Hubby Through College).  All are now retired except for Terry Hahn.

For all but the final year David O'Day was the dean.  Jack Bone was the dean in their final year.  Per Loren Thompson  "There are a lot of fond memories from those times and we were very impressed with the new facilities and the level of education available to the students in the Pharm.D. program!  We would like to thank the School of Pharmacy for giving us the opportunity to celebrate our 40 years in conjunction with their celebrating of 60 years."
