Drug Information Center Is a Valuable Resource

UW's Drug Information Center, directed by Melissa Hunter, Pharm.D. RPh, is a valuable resource for all residents in the state of Wyoming as well as UW alumni who have questions or concerns about prescription and over-the-counter medications, herbal therapies, and diet supplements. The registered pharmacist on duty will also identify tablets/capsules and retrieve relevant journal articles. The center also serves as a rotation site for UW Doctor of Pharmacy candidates. There are no limits to the number of questions asked by an individual, and center services are generally free of charge. The center is accessible by phone (307-766-6988), fax (307-766-2953), and e-mail (rxinfo@uwyo.edu) and is open week days.
