Oct. 30, 2009 -- The Guggenheim Grotto from Dublin Ireland will perform a free concert Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union ballroom.

Mick Lynch and Kevin May have performed a mix of poetic, and often literature-inspired lyrics with pop melodies throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. The band's debut album was released in Ireland in 2005 and rapidly became a favorite on Irish radio. They soon were discovered in the U.S., and have been on four U.S. tours.

The group's music has been featured on TV shows such as "One Tree Hill" and "Brothers and Sisters."
