Acting Company to Present

March 12, 1997 Shakespeare's comedy of love at first sight, "As You Like It," will be performed by members of the Acting Company, a national touring repertory ensemble, on Sunday, March 16, at the University of Wyoming.

The troupe's performance, sponsored by UW Cultural Programs, begins at 8 p.m. in the College of Arts and Sciences auditorium.

The Acting Company, founded in 1972 by Margot Harley and the late John Houseman, is America's only permanent, professional repertory theatre company. The group tours nationwide and is known for finding, developing and launching careers of younger actors.

Among its alumni are Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, David Ogden Stiers and Harriet Harris.

Admission for "As You Like It" is $13 for nonstudents and $10 for students, children and senior citizens. Tickets are available at the Fine Arts Center box office, (307) 766-6666, or the ASUW ticket office in the Wyoming Union, (307) 766-3327.
