High Plains Roundup
The club is reserving the Camp Russel group area at Curt Gowdy State Park for the Roundup this year. We have reserved the site for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (September 5, 6, and 7). Curt Gowdy State Park is 11 miles east of the entrance to Yellow Pine on the Happy Jack Road (WY 210).
There will be a small registration fee, to recoup the UARC's cost to reserve the group area, in addition to the State Park fees.
The swap meet is ON!
The daily use fee per vehicle is $2 for WY residents and $4 for nonresidents. An annual resident daily use permit is $25, and $40 for nonresidents. Overnight Camping fees are $6 for WY residents per day, and $12 for non residents. Permits are available at the park or by calling 1-877-WYO-PARK, or at www.wyo-park.com.
General schedule for the High Plains Roundup will be as follows:
Friday - Arrival, setup, socializing
Saturday - 8:00 to ? Tailgate swap meet & socializing
12:00 Chile cookoff and potluck dinner
Afternoon & evening - more swapping, visiting, & eating
Sunday - 8:00 Potluck breakfast & coffee
