High Plains Roundup

Location - Curt Gowdy State Park
(State Route 210 between Laramie and Cheyenne) This is the same site we used in 2003. The UARC has reserved Camp Russell Shelter Friday night September 10 and Saturday night September 11 Shelter rental begins at 10:00 am and ends at midnight)
Schedule of Events
FRIDAY
Registration begins at noon at Camp Russell Shelter: Fee $3 covers the shelter rental and includes 2 tickets for door prizes. No preregistration. Additional tickets for door prizes $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
Friday evening hotdog cook out. Bring some extra hotdogs, fixin's and deserts, and a bit of firewood for evening campfire near the shelter.
Don Miller K7TFW has volunteered to play guitar for evening music.
SATURDAY
Free coffee!
Tailgate swapping begins at 8:00 am – bring your goodies
Chile cook off combined with a potluck meal at noon on Saturday.
Business meeting to get volunteers for the next year will take place immediately after the Saturday meal.
SUNDAY
Free Coffee!
WU7Y has volunteered to put on a pancake breakfast Sunday morning.
