Research and Expertise

Lucas Stricker has been part of the faculty of the University of Wyoming for ten years. His areas of concentration include poetry, creative writing, African American literature, technical writing, graphic novels and the idea of political and cultural transformation through the arts. Besides teaching for the AADS department, he has also taught several English courses covering a variety of topics in writing and literature, as well as performed his work at live readings across Wyoming and Colorado. Current courses being taught by Lucas include Introduction to African American Studies and AAST2990: Black Comic Books.
