Now that you have been admitted to the University of Wyoming, there are a few items that you will need to complete to enroll as an official Wyoming student and to help better prepare you for the start of your college experience.
Below is a checklist to assist you in a smooth transition to college life. You can also view your account on Destination You-W at WyoWeb to track your progress.
The Destination You-W link becomes available in February for students attending UW during the summer or fall semesters, and in October for students starting in the spring semester.
This WyoWeb portal will contain all of your main information, including enrollment, financial aid, and scholarships. The "Checklist" tab will help you see what you need to complete before starting classes.
For First-Year Students entering in the fall semester, there is a $300 enrollment deposit that is due by May 1st. For students applying after May 1st, the enrollment deposit is due within three weeks of your admissions acceptance. This deposit holds your place in the incoming class and “alerts” the University of your intention to attend. The deposit includes your $100 damage deposit for your Residence Hall Room and the additional $200 is a prepayment towards your student tuition and fees.
After confirming your enrollment, Residence Life and Dining Services would like for you to complete your housing form. This form will help to match you in a desired Freshman Interest Group (if available), match you with a compatible roommate, and/or place you on a specific residence hall floor.
All students must turn in proof of the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella vaccination prior to course registration. You will not be able to register for semester classes if you have not met this requirement. For further information about the MMR vaccination requirement, please contact Student Health Service.
The University of Wyoming has a mandatory advising policy for all students (except non-degree graduate and outreach students). Contact your department of study or review the college information on the checklist tab of Destination You-W on WyoWeb to learn more about getting advised so you can register for classes.
Once you have been advised and given your Personal Electronic Registration Code (PERC), you may register for classes through your Destination You-W account on WyoWeb under the To-Do Items on your "Checklist" tab.
To finalize your admissions, scholarships, and financial aid, please have final official transcripts sent to the UW Admissions Office. You can verify this process has been completed through your Destination You-W account on WyoWeb.

If you have taken high school level classes in a foreign language but have not earned college or AP/IB credit, you may be able to place into a higher level to begin.
