College: B.A. Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations, University of Wyoming

Favorite college memory: I have way too many fond memories over my four years here at UW. Some would be: proposing to my wife at War Memorial Stadium, performing in talent shows, my time living in a fraternity, volunteering at Big Brothers Big Sisters, and continuing my family legacy. My grandfather received his education here because of the G.I. Bill as a first generation student. All of his children and most of his grandchildren pursued degrees here because of his example. UW provided an opportunity that continues to benefit generations of our family. He still lives in Laramie and was a great supporter all the way through my degree. While I was in school, I had eight relatives attending UW at the same time!

Hobbies outside of work: I love the outdoors and going to Vedauwoo. It is an amazing recreational area. I also volunteer, play music, and enjoy spending time with my family!

Favorite place on campus: I really love visiting the UW Green House. It is a hidden gem that many people are not aware of. There are plants from all over the world including many exotic flowers, cacti, and even Venus Fly Traps. Watch your fingers!

Advice to incoming students: Use this experience as a time to try something new. You will never have an opportunity quite like this again. Educate yourself, but also seek ways to enrich your life and help others. Finally, no fun till the homework is done.
