Hometown: Buena Vista, Colorado

College: B.S. Agricultural Business, University of Wyoming

Favorite college memory: Even though I was a transfer student, the University of Wyoming still offered me so much. My biggest worried was going to a University and feeling overwhelmed, which is why I attended a Junior College prior to UW. I will never forget the feel I had when I stepped foot on the University of Wyoming’s Campus, I turned toward my mom and dad and said “this is where I belong” and I hadn’t even checked in for the Discovery Days event yet. As the day continued I realized more that there was so much for me to succeed in here and I had found my place.

Hobbies outside of work: I love being outside doing anything from camping, hiking, fishing to anything to do with Agriculture. These are just some of my enjoyments when I’m in the outdoors and I can do all of them and so much more with just a short drive from Laramie.

Favorite place on campus: Prexy’s Pasture! I love being able to see each of the four seasons when walking across Prexy’s. It is a great place for students to be able to be themselves while still being on campus

Advice to incoming students: Take your college career as a time to become who you were meant to be. First you must find the college you feel at home at and make sure it is what you want as the student not what someone else said to do. Be yourself but also set goals for yourself, maybe it is to join a new club or activity you never thought you would be good at. College will be the time that allows you to try new things and get out of your comfort zone.
