During your time on campus, you will have the opportunity to live the college life of a Poke!
We arrange individual visits Monday-Friday ONLY. Visits usually begin at 9, 10, 11, 12, or 1 though we recommend you come to campus 1/2 hour early to park and check in. Campus tours depart from Knight 106 at 11 and 2 during the school year and summer and at 11 only during other academic breaks.
Please note that we are not able to arrange appointments with NCAA D-1 athletic teams. You are welcome to contact the coaches on your own in conjunction with your planned trip to campus. See "Athletics Dept." at www.wyomingathletics.com.
Take advantage of your trip to Laramie and plan time to explore local hiking, biking, climbing, and skiing opportunities; shop our historic downtown as you enjoy local coffee shops and restaurants; or perhaps take a leisurely drive over the Snowy Range or over to the Vedauwoo rock formations east of Laramie.
Make sure to consult our Academic Calendar prior to selecting your date. Please note, Nursing has limited dates with faculty, see below for details.
May 27 UW will be closed for Memorial Day.
July 4 UW will be closed for Independence Day.
July 26 join us for Picnic in the Pasture! Individual Visits will not be available.
Students interested in meeting with the Nursing Program are encouraged to schedule their visit on a day that Nursing faculty are available. Click Here for more information. Plan to be on campus in time to take the 11 am tour (or earlier) on these days as the Nursing appointment will take from 1-3 p.m.
Please call us at 307-766-4075 after you submit your online visit request if you are coming on short notice. We request at least 1 week to process your visit if you'd like appointments with professors. Keep in mind that the more notice you can give our office, the better we'll be able to serve you.
