Systems

Internal combustion engines may not run properly or efficient without the use of many other systems working in conjunction with the Otto cycle. As with many other agricultural power sources, a complex makeup of systems work together to insure the efficiency of the small gas engine. These systems work together to enhance the efficiency of the Otto cycle.

The following systems must be incorporated into a small gas engine for it to operate correctly:

Carburetor system

Ignition system

Lubrication system

Cooling system
