    • Full-time Agronomist: Assist farmers with crop production decisions that best fit their operation and goals. Create timely recommendations for fertilizer, seed & ag chemicals that bring a sound return on investment. Work closely with our team of Agronomists, Precision Ag Specialists & industry leaders to ensure a high level of unbiased service for the benefit of our customers 

    • Agronomy Intern: Work closely with our team of Agronomists, Precision Ag Specialists & industry leaders to ensure a high level of unbiased service for the benefit of our customers. Paired with Agronomist(s) to assist farmers with crop production decisions that best fit their operation and goals. Study Abroad 


Australia’s Export-led Ag Sector 

  • Description: Travel to Australia in an epic three week trip that covers seven ecological zones from beach to outback. Visit farms and stations. Learned about Livestock and crops. Earn upper division credits.

Food and Farm Culture in France 

  • Description: It’s time to gear up for France, summer 2022! Yeah! International travel is back. And if you are looking for that international travel experience, there is no better place to start than UW’s longest running international program. Now in its 34th year, AGEC 4280, Food and Farm Culture in France is a great way to experience study abroad.

Summer 2022 Study Abroad Program in London Course: International Social Welfare --A British Perspective 

  • Description: This intensive, exciting two-week, 3 credit study abroad program in London will allow students to experience history, culture, and the richly vibrant environment of London through various site visits, tours, and presentations. Students will learn about the growth and development of social work and social welfare systems in England and understand its relevance in today’s London: “a living laboratory” of multiculturalism, diversity, migration, and globalization. The course will allow students to increase their awareness of diverse cultures that form the integral multiethnic tapestry of the area and challenge them to move beyond their own ethnocentric perspectives and develop intercultural competence which is necessary to perform in an increasingly globalized society.

Live Local Work Local 

  • Location: Cheyenne, WY

  • Description: Cheyenne, Wyoming conjures thoughts of the wild west, it is that and so much more. With a diverse art culture, a flourishing downtown, and a growing foodie scene, Cheyenne should be on your list of cities to work after graduation. The next Live Local Work Local event will feature a young professionals session that allows you to meet professionals who were in your shoes just years before, tours of local companies, speaker panels, and (of course) food!  

    • Please note that we will have a mandatory information session prior to the event. The information session will be held on two days, and you must attend one. They are Monday, Oct. 25th and Tuesday, Oct. 26th at 4 pm in BU 123.

External Events 


ALCF AI for Science Training Series 

  • Description: Argonne National Lab is launching an AI training program aimed at undergraduate and graduate students interested in taking their AI skills to a new level. The Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) AI for Science Training Series, which kicks off on October 28, 2021, is a weekly virtual program designed to teach attendees the fundamentals of using world-class supercomputers to advance the use of AI for science. The intensive, hands-on series will leverage Argonne’s AI expertise and the ALCF’s supercomputing resources to provide a unique learning experience that will give participants a leg up in the burgeoning field of AI for Science. The program will cover all aspects of using supercomputers for AI, from employing Jupyter notebooks, building data pipelines for deep learning, uncertainty quantification, reinforcement learning, geometric deep learning, and distributed training, to mention just a few of the topics to be explored with hands-on examples using experimental datasets.
