  • Description: Academic & Student Programs is hiring an office associate/recruitment coordinator. This position would coordinate college recruitment, commencement, and undergraduate teaching assistant and orientation activities. Facilitate and maintain the Academic and Student Programs office. This position also serves as the Ag Ambassador student organization advisor and provides support to the Associate Dean and faculty/staff and students.

Montana Extreme Biofilms Program NSF-Research Experience for Undergraduates 

  • Location: Montana State University 

  • Dates: May 21-Aug 5, 2022 

  • Description: The MSU Extreme Biofilms Research Experience for Undergraduates (EB-REU) is a 10-week summer program designed to engage participants in a research project aimed at discovering new ways to grow, understand, and utilize extremophilic biofilms for human benefit. Our undergraduate scientists will gain a direct appreciation for the unique physical, physiological, and genetic adaptations of biofilm-forming microorganisms found in numerous extreme systems.

Sacramento Camp and Conference Center Equestrian Positions

Wyoming DEQ Land Quality Division Temporary Summer Student Position   

  • Description: Adecco is recruiting for a temporary summer position available to a junior or senior student enrolled at the University of Wyoming (UW), in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources or similar natural resource program. The summer, temporary position will provide an opportunity for a student to work on real world projects in land management, work with professionals in their field of study, and apply knowledge they have gained within their first two to four years of university education.   • Description: WyoScholarships is the UW scholarship system. Students are strongly encouraged to complete the General Application each year to qualify and be considered for a wide range of scholarship opportunities. Students who have been awarded a first-year or transfer scholarship commitment are required to complete the General Application each year to fulfill their respective commitment. In addition be sure to complete the conditional application for College of Agriculture and Natural Resources to be consider for our Brand of Excellence Awards.

Wyoming CattleWomen Scholarship Opportunity 

  • Description: Wyoming CattleWomen is offering two scholarships to deserving young women from the state of Wyoming. These scholarships will be awarded based on application criteria and an essay component. Each scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $500. In addition, each awardee will be given a one-year membership to Wyoming CattleWomen.

2022 International Livestock Congress (ILC) Student Fellowships Program  

  • Date March 2-3, 2022  

  • Description: In an on-going effort to enhance the educational experiences of college students and strengthen the leaders of tomorrow’s livestock and meat industry, the ISEF awards fellowships each year for the ILC to senior-level undergraduates and graduate students attending accredited colleges or universities.  Hosted in Houston, Texas, during the world-famous Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (HLS&R), the ILC is a unique global event that brings leaders from the livestock and meat industry together to discuss issues of international importance that affect the future of animal agriculture.  Scholastic achievement, leadership experiences, and a professional reference are all part of the qualifying requirements for this fellowship program.

University of Wyoming Alumni Association Gingerbread Decorating contest  

  • Description: Join in on the fun in celebrating the holiday season this year! Open to the UW campus community and alumni & friends. The gingerbread houses will be on display for viewing and voting Monday, December 6 to Friday, December 10 at noon. The Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. One vote per person per category. The winner from each category will receive a special engraved trophy.

UW Animal Science Judging Teams Holiday Meat Sale

  • Pick-up dates: November 18th, December 6th, December 9th   

  • Pick-up instructions: Pick-up will occur at the UW Meat Laboratory Sales Room from 5-7 PM. Park in the west end lot of the Animal Science/Molecular Biology Building and enter the west doors of the building. For the November 18th pick-up date, please place your order by Thursday, November 11th so that you can enjoy our delicious holiday items for Thanksgiving! The remaining pick-up dates will cut off one week prior to the scheduled pick-up.

AGRI 4990-04 Topics: Ranch Management and Agricultural Leadership Seminar   

  • Time and Dates: Spring 2022 Thursdays 4:10-7pm (Will meet 5 times throughout semester)   

  • Course Description: This course addresses contemporary issues facing ranchers addressing livestock management and markets, water, rangeland management, public/private land issues and emerging technologies in the agricultural sector. Students will have opportunity to network with industry experts to learn about leadership qualities. Sessions will be held around the state and will be available through Zoom.
