Post Admission Check List
Congratulations on your admission to the University of Wyoming and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources! Below is a list of items to take care of before you arrive on campus in the fall. Feel free to print this page out and use it as a checklist, however, if you need any help or assistance, call Mandie Corcoran at (307) 766-4034, I am here to help make this process as easy as possible!
SCHOLARSHIPS:

FASFA:
Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid before March 1. The form is available at your high school guidance office, college financial aid office, or at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This form is necessary to receive any federal need-based assistance or federal student loan programs. It may be necessary to use estimated tax information to meet the March 1 deadline.

RESIDENCE LIFE/DINING:

ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION:

ORIENTATION/REGISTRATION:
Register for a New Student Orientation session. Registration can be done On-Line on your WyoWeb checklist or Destination You-W. Sessions are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Orientation is held in June and is your opportunity to register early for classes in the fall.

Have your final high school or college transcripts sent directly to the UW Admissions Office when they become available.

ADVISING:
The University of Wyoming has a mandatory advising policy for all students except non-degree graduate students. If you do not attend Orientation, you will need to contact the department of which your area of interest is housed, or call Mandie Corcoran at (307) 766-4034.

Eligible students can register, drop/add, and list their courses at WyoWeb (or Web registration) http://wyoweb.uwyo.edu. WyoWeb is available to view information, update addresses, registration, and student information and communication tools within a web portal. Students who register early for a math course but have not satisfied the prerequisites at the time of the check will be dropped from the course. Information on prerequisites and a schedule of exams can be viewed at http://www.uwyo.edu/math/placement/prerequisite-information.html. Information on taking the Math Placement Exam (MPE) online can be found on your student checklist on your WyoWeb account.

Students with previous language experience are eligible to take advanced college-level language courses. For students who have taken high school language courses - not college or university - the Department of Modern & Classical Languages offers a pre-enrollment language placement exam. ORDER YOUR TEXTBOOKS:

Before you will be allowed to register on our system, you will be asked whether or not you would like to waive the Student Medical Insurance. You must make a selection, either yes or no, in order to proceed with registration.
