SCHOLARSHIPS:
Complete and submit the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Brand of Excellence Scholarship Application before December 31 deadline.

FASFA:
Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid before March 1. The form is available at your high school guidance office, college financial aid office, or at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This form is necessary to receive any federal need-based assistance or federal student loan programs. It may be necessary to use estimated tax information to meet the March 1 deadline.

RESIDENCE LIFE/DINING:
Complete and submit the UW Residence Life and Dining Services contract as soon as possible. Where you will live will be one of the most important things you can arrange before you come to campus. Go to the following web site at http://www.uwyo.edu/reslife-dining or call 307-766-3715.

Sign-up for a Freshman Interest Group (FIG). Check out our Ag FIGS:

MMR:
Provide proof of Measles Immunization (MMR) by sending verification documentation to UW Student Health Services. Fax number is (307) 766-2711.

VISIT US!
If you have not visited our campus, go to UW Visit Campus to make the necessary arrangements for you to see the University of Wyoming, meet with me individually and/or a faculty member in your area of interest, a Admissions representative, and get a free lunch.

ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION:
To confirm your enrollment and to signup for a Residence Hall and Orientation, go to WyoWeb checklist or Destination You-W.

ORIENTATION/REGISTRATION:
Register for a New Student Orientation session. Registration can be done On-Line on your WyoWeb checklist or Destination You-W. Sessions are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Orientation is held in June and is your opportunity to register early for classes in the fall.

SEND YOUR TRANSCRIPTS:
Have your final high school or college transcripts sent directly to the UW Admissions Office when they become available.

ADVISING:
The University of Wyoming has a mandatory advising policy for all students except non-degree graduate students. If you do not attend Orientation, you will need to contact the department of which your area of interest is housed, or call Mandie Corcoran at (307) 766-4034.

CLASS SCHEDULE:
The class schedule is available on the web at http://www.uwyo.edu/registrar or you may call (307) 766-5272 and request a schedule by mail. Eligible students can register, drop/add, and list their courses at WyoWeb (or Web registration) http://wyoweb.uwyo.edu. WyoWeb is available to view information, update addresses, registration, and student information and communication tools within a web portal. Contact the Office of the Registrar, West Wing Knight Hall, at (307) 766-5724 with any questions regarding the registration process.

MATH:
All UW Math classes have carefully stated prerequisites. Students who register early for a math course but have not satisfied the prerequisites at the time of the check will be dropped from the course. Information on prerequisites and a schedule of exams can be viewed at http://www.uwyo.edu/math/placement/prerequisite-information.html. Information on taking the Math Placement Exam (MPE) online can be found on your student checklist on your WyoWeb account.

LANGUAGE CREDIT-BY-EXAM:
Students with previous language experience are eligible to take advanced college-level language courses. For students who have taken high school language courses - not college or university - the Department of Modern & Classical Languages offers a pre-enrollment language placement exam. The Modern & Classical Languages Department can be contaced at (307) 766-4177.

ORDER YOUR TEXTBOOKS:
You can buy your books at the bookstore when you get to campus or textbooks can be ordered online from the UW Bookstore and shipped to you or picked up when you arrive on campus. Visit www.uwyobookstore.com or call (307)766-3264.

TUITION AND FEES CHECK AND PAYMENT:

STUDENT MEDICAL INSURANCE:
Before you will be allowed to register on our system, you will be asked whether or not you would like to waive the Student Medical Insurance. You must make a selection, either yes or no, in order to proceed with registration. IDs AND PARKING PERMITS:
To obtain a Student ID:

• Main Campus Freshman or Transfers - may upload their photo on Destination UW and will receive their Student ID at either Orientation, Residence Hall Check-In, or at the Campus Express Office located in Room 28, Knight Hall Basement, East Wing (307) 766-5267.
• Outreach and International Students - will obtain their Student IDs at the Campus Express Office located in Room 28, Knight Hall Basement, East Wing (307) 766-5267.

A Student ID is a student's passport on campus and needed to confirm registration, access the Resident Halls, pick up grades, request transcripts, apply for financial aid, cask checks, attend athletic events, enter the recreation facilities, check out library books and other materials, and obtain food service and other necessities.
