Each year Wyoming schools receive application information for upcoming camps.
Session #1- (Current 10th and 11th graders): July 10-15th
Session #2- (Current 8th and 9th graders): July 17th- 22nd
Cost: Our generous sponsors underwrite most camp costs. Campers pay only $75.00!
Housing, meals and transportaion during the camp will be provided.
Purpose of Camp:
The Wyoming AHEC Summer Camp is designed to expose high school students to the different healthcare careers available in Wyoming. This five day residential camp on the University of Wyoming campus allowed students to:
Explore a variety of health careers through interactive workshops.
Earn American Heart Association CPR 2 year certification.
Learn from health professionals and college instructors.
Identify the skills needed for careers in healthcare.
Experience dorm living and campus life.
