15^th Annual Wyoming High School Healthcare Career Fair

The Wyoming AHEC (Area Health Education Center) has been asked to take over responsibility for coordination of the Annual Wyoming High School Healthcare Career Fair.  One goal of Wyoming AHEC is to provide pipeline activities for students interested in pursuing a healthcare career in an effort to “grow our own” future healthcare providers.  Toni Decklever, RN, has been the person most directly responsible for putting on this event for the past 14 years.  She has done a tremendous job and we hope to be able to continue offering an informative event for high school students.  In past years, an average of 350 high school students have attended this event.  Teachers/counselors typically select students who have indicated a serious interest in healthcare careers.
