What is the ALT Department's procedure/policy for assigning and changing graduate committee members? - Top

To assign a doctorate graduate committee the student meets with the proposed chair,  normally the student's advisor. Together, the student and the proposed chair decide on committee membership. The student then approaches each proposed committee member and asks them if they would be willing to serve. If they agree, an e-mail should be sent by each committee member to the Adult Learning and Technology Office Associate indicating their agreement to serve. This same procedure is followed when changing a committee setup.

Master graduate committee's are set up as part of the Capstone course.

Please contact the department office for further information on setting up a committee.
