Travel Costs – Kenya, East Africa

June 8-June 23, 2007

The Kenya program is limited to 12 participants. Price for the Kenya itinerary is US $3,450 per person sharing a double or twin bed. It is also based on a minimum of 6 persons participating in the program. Single room supplement $516.

PRICES INCLUDE:

  • Airport transfers on arrival and departure in Nairobi
  • Accommodation on dinner, bed and breakfast while in Nairobi
  • Accommodation on full board while on safari (bed, breakfast, lunch & dinner)
  • All game parks entrance fees
  • Game drives while on safari
  • Services of a resident naturalist and or - ornithologist for at least two hours per day in each location you will visit
  • Services of a qualified English speaking tour/driver guide
  • Transportation in Nairobi and while on safari in a safari-designed vehicle with a pop up roof ideal for game viewing and photography
  • Purified bottled water (1 liter per day per person) during the safari
  • Flying doctors evacuation insurance cover while on safari
  • All government taxes

THE PRICE EXCLUDES:

  • Travel to and from Nairobi. Participants are responsible for making their own airline reservations, though recommendations and suggestions for flight arrangements will be provided.
  • Entry visas to Kenya (US $50 per person)
  • Tips/gratuities to the driver/tour guide
  • Drinks, telephone and laundry
  • Entry to Crescent Island
  • Any other item of personal nature
  • Writing materials such as papers, pencils etc.

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION:

A deposit of $300.00 is required to initially hold your reservation. Once twelve reservations have been received, all participants will be contacted to verify continued interest in the program. After this time the $300.00 deposit is not refundable.

We anticipate airline reservations to be made in December. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the remaining program costs need to be paid by March 5, 2007. The remainder (75%) is payable 35 days before the beginning of the trip (May 6, 2007).
