Campaign 2015 – “Connect, Commit, Celebrate” A UWAA membership effort leading to our 120th anniversary in 2015. We are calling upon our alumni to join with our Board and staff to assist us in expanding our membership base allowing the UWAA to better serve the University and our alumni by offering new relevant services and programs.

Where are we now:
The University of Wyoming had 111,000 living alumni at June 30, 2012. Nearly 16,000 of these alumni have expressed their pride in UW through a membership in the UWAA and believe in the services the UWAA provides to UW alumni and UW.

The Goal:
To make every effort to reach 20,000 members within the next five years.

The Key Principles on which the campaign is built:

• Pride in the University of Wyoming
• Broad nation wide volunteer effort leveraging the talents and resources of our 16,000+ strong alumni member base
• Campaign support and resources provided by UWAA staff and board members
• Rewards and incentives for new members and volunteer campaign team members
• Celebration and communication of the successes along the way

How the Campaign Works:

Current UWAA members contact friends, relatives or business associates and invite them to become members of the UWAA in one of several ways:

• Mail a membership application to UW Alumni offices at 214 S. 14th Street, Laramie, WY  82070

A membership to the UWAA makes a great gift!

• Each new Annual member receives a $10 UW Alumni Collection merchandise gift card
• Each new Life member receives a $25 UW Alumni Collection merchandise gift card

Volunteer Team Members receive:

• 1 Raffle ticket for each new member (up to 10) for a drawing from the University Store UW Alumni Collection (20 tickets will be drawn)
• 10+ new members - $50 University Store Alumni Collection gift card
• Top Volunteer recruiter with at least 10+ new members –$250 University Store Alumni Collection gift card

Drawings and Top Volunteer announcement will be held at the Annual Scholarship Auction in April.

Helping the UWAA continue to increase membership is one of the most important and meaningful contributions you can make to UW. Ask at least one person to join and keep the UWAA growing! A vibrant association enables the UWAA to:
