University of Wyoming Alumni Association|Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction

Scholarship Benefit Dinner & Auction

The UWAA staff coordinates an annual spring scholarship auction which funds an average of 40 scholarships a year. The annual auction, held in various towns throughout Wyoming, helps us meet our yearly $100,000 funding obligation. Alumni, friends and community members are always welcome to attend.

The 2014 dinner & auction will be held at Little America in Cheyenne April 11.  Be a part of the evening!  This year you can buy raffle tickets to win a 14" Talk About Your Cowboy  bronze sculpture by D. Michael Thomas. by clicking here.

NEW in 2014 -  UW student art work will be featured and auctioned at the end of the evening.  Click HERE to purchase tickets to the event.

Students are selected as graduating high school seniors on the basis of academic excellence, leadership, extra-curricular activities and an essay on why they wish to attend the University of Wyoming.  The scholarships are made available to students for their four years at UW.

Additional four-year scholarships have been added to include Veteran's and under represented multi-cultural students. These awards are all four-year scholarships of $1500 per year.   In addition, the association offers three two-year $1500 scholarships for Wyoming community college transfer students, three one-year $1500 scholarships to outstanding UW juniors or seniors, and a one-year $1500 scholarship to a UW graduate student. Each scholarship has specific application criteria.

All proceeds from the auction are used to fund the scholarship program -  allowing Alumni and friends to help students achieve their dreams
...one scholarship at a time.
