WYOgold Student Alumni Association
The WYOgold Student Alumni Association is a Recognized Student Organization that has been on campus since 1982. WYOgold serves to help current students become student leaders, excel on campus and educate them about their future as distinguished UW alumni. WYOgold also strives to cultivate a spirit of university pride and connection to one’s alma mater— even before they graduate. Last year we made an extraordinary amount of progress in regards to our role on campus and working with the student body. This year we would like to build on that progress and build our WYOgold Student Alumni Association into one of the premiere organizations on campus. YOU can be a part of this. The Alumni Association staff is working to create and build on ideas that have made other Student Alumni Associations across the nation successful. We embrace working with students on campus to create and foster tradition and pride on campus.
WYOgold has partnered with the Zane Beadles Parade Foundation (this foundation supports children who are going through unfortunate circumstances), UW Athletics, and UW Pride to hold a cleaning supplies drive for Brent's Place. Beginning February 3, collection bins will be located at the Student Union, Coe Library, College of Business, Engineering Buildinig, Classroom Building, Fine Arts Building, Half Acre Gym, and the Arena Auditorium. Supplies will be collected March.
