Dr. Amy McLean, Equine Specialist, attended the 3rd Annual Equitarian Outreach program in Santa Cruz, Tlaxcala, Mexico.  While in Santa Cruz, Dr. McLean helped teach donkey and mule behavior and handling to 40 veterinarians from around the world.  The veterinarians were there to learn more about Equitarian projects and setting up their own outreach program in a developing country.

The Equitarian Outreach program is a program of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP).  The AAEP's mission is to improve the health and welfare of the horse, to further the professional development of its members, and to provide resources and leadership for the benefit of the equine industry.
