The Block and Bridle Club looks great on a resume, helps students become involved, and is a great opportunity to meet lifelong friends that share a passion for Agriculture!
National Block and Bridle club members are college students from all over the United States who are interested in Animal Agriculture. UW B&B is a registered student organization, involved with the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Members do not have to be studying a major within the College of AG to be part of Block and Bridle. The UW Collegiate Block and Bridle Club is affiliated with the national organization.
If you have a passion for learning more about Agriculture and Animal Science and would like to advocate that passion, contact one of our officers or advisors to join B&B.

What we do at UW:
Little International Livestock Show
Students in ANSC 1070 train, fit and show either swine, sheep, horses, or beef cattle. B&B club members serve a meal and hold a hog raffle in conjunction with the "Little I".
Annual Block & Bridle Banquet
At the end of the spring semester, the club hosts the annual Block and Bridle Banquet, which recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding students, staff and judging teams in Animal Science. The banquet is followed by a dance.
The club also puts on a team academic competition for all students to participate in. Competition includes: lab practicums, a written test, an oral presentation, and a quiz bowl. The winning team gets to compete at the regional level.
This energetic group of students also works together to decorate the Animal Science Foyer for the Holiday season.
B&B hosts dances, BBQ's Game Nights, & other social and fundraising events throughout the year. Some of our big plans include:
Allison Meyer ~ 766-5173 Zeb Gray ~ 766-5115 Doug Hixon ~ 766-2224
