Research Interests:
Dr. Stobart's major research interests include biology of wool growth, genetic improvement in wool traits, objective measurements of wool characteristics (use of computer technology for measurement purposes), and use of new technologies in marketing wool. Interests also include using improved means for synchronizing estrus in ewes, super ovulation, embryo transfer and semen collection and freezing, with the overall objective of improving wool production using domestic or imported breeds.
