Animal Science Meat Sales Information
Meat is cut, wrapped and frozen when sold. See chart below for products offered.
Sale dates are scheduled at the discretion of the Meat Laboratory Manager (when product is available). Individuals on the online store will be informed of availability and upcoming sale dates. Please register online to become an active member of our online store. (If you experience difficulty registering for the online store, please email Karyn at kberchen@uwyo.edu for registration)
We appreciate timely pick-up of your order, any order not claimed on the day of the scheduled pick-up will be canceled.
Sales are held in the Meat Sales Room located on the West End of the Animal Science/Molecular Biology Building in room #136.
Order totals will be calculated at the time of order pick-up. Credit cards, Checks and Payroll Deductions (deductions available for UW employees only) are the only forms of payment accepted.
**NOTE** Please keep in mind that we are a teaching facility. Cuts of meat may vary in size from commercially cut product and occasionally some pieces may be missing from described packages due to research/classroom projects.
**NOTE**Due to the varying size of each animal, the weight listed below is an
average weight of a typical order. The package you pick up may be larger
and will cost more due to the extra amount of product.
