The Frison Institutes assists international scholars to visit the University of Wyoming in order to study collections or to participate in field research projects. In the past decade, scholars from Russia, Sweden, France, Argentina, Croatia, and Japan have visited the Institute. The Institute currently has formal cooperative agreements with the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France. The Institute also has a strong working relationship with institutions in Russia (especially, Novosibirsk State University and the Russian
Academy of Sciences), South Korea, and Japan.
