We strongly encourage students to visit the beautiful University of Wyoming campus when you apply to UW Anthropology. It is easier for us to make admission decisions if we can put a face to an application, and it is easier for you to decide if Wyoming is right for you through a visit.
You should arrange to visit at least two weeks before application deadlines. Check with the faculty you wish to speak with through e-mail to make sure they will be available, and then arrange your visit with either the graduate director or with a faculty member that you wish to be your adviser.
You should plan to meet with graduate students as well, so it is preferable to visit campus at a time when the students will be here. We will help with this arrangement as well.
In addition, we will help you find a graduate student who could host you during your stay. Contact the graduate director (Melissa Murphy, email@example.com) or the department secretary (Keith Kanbe, firstname.lastname@example.org, 307-766-5136).
