Cowboy Battalion Bronze Boot Run

The Bronze Boot Run coincides with the Border War football game against CSU. Army ROTC cadets from both UW and CSU run the game ball from stadium to stadium. The team winning the football game is the proud owner of the Bronze Boot Trophy until next year's game. The tradition started in 1968 and the Boot was originally worn in Vietnam by Colorado State ROTC graduate Jeff Romero Sr. in Vietnam. This year being the four consecutive year that the Pokes have won the Trophy with Wyoming leading the series 24-21. GO POKES!!
